Take a wok on the wild side.

It's all about the method. My parents showed me years ago how to make popcorn in the wok. Needs absolutely no shaking. Put the oil and popcorn in, turn up the heat, and let her go.
Tim and Michele shared their secret recipe with us around the same time. Sprinkle with Vege-Sal and nutritional yeast (found at health food stores). Enjoy.

Even though I'm a huge fan of Michele's famous popcorn, I remain lazy and continue to buy the stuff that's done in exactly 3 minutes by nuking it. Makes it more of a treat when I get to have it at your houses I suppose.
Hey-will you save me some of the old maids? They're my favoritest part, don'tcha know.
See you in a bit.

It sounds sweet, the way you share my recipe, but your readers don't know I'm almost like a meth addict now the way I must have that stuff at least 1-2 a week. I'll call, "Does anyone want popcorn?" and noone wants it, and I'll start making it anyway, as if I weren't going to eat the whole bowl alone. ~Michele aka Popcorn Head (sometimes called "Melon-head" by Tom)
Hey, coolio green bowl. With the popcorn it looks like a flower. Me wantee that, too.

Hi Mellie- Ooo, I love the old maids, too. I'm always afraid that my teeth are gonna snap in half while chomping away. Funzy time yesterday.

Hi Popcorn Melon Head - I love that stuff almost anytime. Make yourself a 'tap-tap' list, you know I'll forget. Missed you and Tim yesterday. Don't ever do that again.

I'm the youngest one here--just sayin'.

Michele's popcorn is the most addicting snack on earth! God knows.

Hey Sadie - Go ahead, rub it in that I'm 16 years older than you! Egad, that sounds soooo old. I could have babysat you. (Michele is older than me.) Yes, I can eat her popcorn, even when I'm not even hungry.

Tracie--you look absolutely gorgeous for your age--don't you ever doubt it! I want to look even half as fit and sexy as you when I grow up!

Oh Sadie, you're so sweet!

I need another wok! Lost it in the divorce, you know.

Poor Terri - I'm sure Sadie would say the same about you...give her a call. Maybe you could share custody of the wok-50/50.

Tracie, do you have a good and EASY recipe for lemon bars? I'm a fool for them, but too challenged to bake. Thanks!

Tracie said...

Hi Maria- I've never made them, but LOVE the taste of lemon. I'll check my cookbooks and try some out, then let you know. Do you want a delicious recipe for a lemon cake? My Auntie Darlene makes the best!

Yes please to lemon cake recipe if it's EASY. I cook but do not bake. We spend a fortune on store-bought cookies. I would love to reverse this trend if I can!

Thank you dear.

Maria- I'll email the cake recipe and you can see if it's easy enough.
